How it works

1. Plug the TripTrack device into your cigarette lighter and drive!
2. Take the TripTrack device out of the vehicle once a week and plug it into your computer.
3. Download the co-ordinates from the device and all the trip details can be viewed using the TripTrack software. All trips will now be marked as 'Business'.
4. Mark the 'Private' trips. It is also recommended to add some short comments for the Business trips. To remind you of the trip's purpose, each trip can be plotted on the built-in maps which zooms down to street-level.
5. Add any travel-related expenses, such as fuel, services, maintenance, insurance, repayments, etc.
6. Print a monthly report at the end of each month, and then at the end of the tax year, this information can be used to complete your tax return.
